เอกอัครราชทูตเข้าร่วมงานสืบสานประเพณีวันสงกรานต์

เมื่อวันที่ 10 เมษายน 2559 นายธนา เวสโกสิทธิ์ เอกอัครราชทูต และนางจิตผจง เวสโกสิทธิ์ ภริยาได้เข้าร่วมงานประเพณีวันสงกรานต์ที่วัดญานสังวรเวโรน่า แคว้นเวเนโต โดยมีนายอัลแบร์โต เวอร์จิลิโอ กงสุลใหญ่กิตติมศักดิ์ไทยประจำเมืองมิลาน และนายแอนเดรีย มาร์คอน กงสุลกิตติมศักดิ์ไทยประจำเมืองเวนิส เข้าร่วมด้วย ตามคำเชิญของสมาคมคนไทย “สวัสดีลอมบาร์เดีย” และคณะกรรมการวัดญานสังวร เวโรน่า

งานสืบสานประเพณีสงกรานต์ที่วัดไทยเวโรน่าในปีนี้ ซึ่งเป็นผลของร่วมมือกันระหว่าง 2 แคว้น กล่าวคือ แคว้นลอมบาร์เดียและแคว้นเวเนโต มีผู้เข้าร่วมกว่า 200 คน ทั้งชาวไทยและอิตาเลียน ในช่วงเช้ามีพิธี ตักบาตรทำบุญ และในช่วงบ่ายมีการจัดพิธีรดน้ำดำหัว และถวายผ้าป่าเจดีย์ทราย

ในวันเดียวกัน น.ส. พรพรรณ บัวเกิด อัครราชทูต และน.ส. กนกลักษณ์ โพธิ์ไทรย์ ที่ปรึกษา ได้เข้าร่วมงานประเพณีสงกรานต์ ณ เมืองเชร์เวีย แคว้าเอมิเลีย-โรมาญญ่า และเมืองตูริน แคว้นปิเอมอนเต จัดโดยสมาคมและชมรมชาวไทยในแคว้นทั้งสองตามลำดับ

Ambassador Participated in Songkran Celebration

On 10 April 2016 Ambassador Tana Weskosith, together with Mrs. Weskosith and Mr. Alberto Vigilio, Honorary Thai Consul-General of Milan and Mr. Andrea Marcon, Honorary Thai Consul of Venice participated in the Songkran Celebration at Wat Nyanasamvara Verona, upon the invitation of “Sawaddee Lombardia” Thai Community Club and Wat Nyanasamvara Board of Directors.

This year’s Songkran Celebration at Wat Nyanasamvara was jointly organized by Thai communities in Lombardia and Veneto. Over 200 participants, both Thais and Italians, joined in the traditional Songkran ceremonies, which included alms-giving in the morning and “rod nam dum hua,” or the sprinkling of scented water on the hands of the elders to pay respect, as well as the presentation of “pah pah chedi tsai,” which is the collection of donations from devotees to the temple.

On the same day, Ms. Pornpan Buakird, Minister, participated in the Songkran Festival in Cervia, Emilia-Romagna while Ms. Kanokluck Bhosai, Counsellor, attended the Songkran Festival in Turin, Piedmonte.
